Ollie knows his shit with boards, I didn’t really know what I wanted – just that I wanted to try a mid length that would fit in the car after years of surfing a 5’5 hypto. It took a bit to get used to the extra volume and how to navigate it but after a few sessions in waist to chest high clean surf I can really appreciate just how much better it is for those waves.

I plonked in an Al knost fin, I haven’t played too much with fin placement yet as I get enough usability out of the board just shuffling up and down and doing cheater fives. 

Altogether it trims beautifully, controllable entirely based on where I’m stood, and speed comes through this too.
